Morocco Tour Itinerary
Day 1–4: 3 nights Historical Palais Riad - Fez
Arrive at Fez airport where you will be met. Stay at a stunning luxury palais riad in Fez. On the 2nd morning our expert guide Aziz will take you for a Medina tour including the tannery, food markets and some historic sites. The following day will be a tour of further sites in Fez, pottery, Jewish quarter, mosques and museums. Aziz has been working for 20 years as a professional guide around the whole of Morocco, his knowledge is extraordinary. He or one of his team can also be requested for whole tours.
Day 4-5: 1 night Casablanca - Le Corniche, beach front
Leave for Casablanca after breakfast and arrive at your wonderful beach hotel on the famous ‘Le Corniche’. Have lunch at the hotel or request a table to be booked at the famous ‘Ricks Cafe’ before heading off to visit the Hassan II Mosque in the afternoon plus further historical sites. Once back at the hotel opt for dinner in one of their 2 restaurants or ask us to book you a table at the stunning ‘Le Cabestan’ overlooking the ocean.
Days 5-8: 3 nights Camp Adounia - Erg Birtam, Sahara Desert
Take early morning flight from Casablanca to Zagora. Meet your driver and drive 1.5 hours to the Sahara desert camp, stopping at Tamgroute on the way famous for its Emerald green pottery and Koranic museum. Once arriving at the camp enjoy sand boarding, desert camel treks, sun downers on the dunes then dinner and music under the stars.
Day 8–9: 1 night at Ait Benhaddou
Leave the camp after breakfast arriving at our partner hotel with its spectacular view of the UNESCO heritage site of Ksar Aït Benhaddou 4 hours drive. After lunch explore Ait Ben Haddou with our historical guide Ali before returning to the hotel to relax and have dinner.
Days 9–11: 2 nights at Zamzam Riad & Spa, Marrakech
After breakfast leave for Marrakech via Kasbah Telouet (the amazing Glaoui palace). It is a 4 hour trip to Marrakech over the amazing Atlas Mountains, throught the Tizi n’Tichka pass, stop at an Argan Oil co-operative to learn about the production if you wish. Arrive at Zamzam, book into the spa with a massage and hammam before drinks and dinner then relax into your luxury bedroom.
Start the next morning after breakfast with a half day guide of the Medina. Other sights are Majorelle Garden, YSL Museum, the palaces, Medersa Ben Youssef and the Mellah or Jewish Quarter. Our concierge will help you plan restaurants and trips. There are food tasting tours and good bike tours of the city with our partners. Choose to have dinner in or let us book you a restaurant in town.
Day 11 - breakfast and airport transfer.
